Megan M. Matthews, LPCC, Certified Geek Therapist (she/her)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Geek Therapist in Ohio
Offers individual therapy services in person and via teletherapy
Megan’s message: “As a neurodivergent person who also has invisible disabilities and disadvantages from being “non-mainstream” in other ways, I know from lived experience what it’s like to feel erased, and what it’s like to be different and yet be expected to behave as if I’m not. If you feel isolated and alone in your experience; if you don’t like who you are; if you like who you are but dislike the lack of acceptance you get from others in your life; or if you’re so tangled up in expectations – your own, other people’s, maybe both – that you don’t even KNOW who you are… I’ve been there. I see you. I hear you. And I’m here to help.”
Vanessa’s message: “I offer therapy to those struggling with anxiety, depression, making big decisions in life, and those who feel they don’t quite fit in. I especially enjoy providing support to those who are exploring their identity as a neurodivergent person. I strive to bring comfort to my clients and wish to help them affirm their own values and strengths. I especially love to provide psychoeducation around neurodiversity and mindfulness.”

Christina’s message: In providing online therapy, clients are able to be in their personal space, which is where change happens. I strive to create a therapeutic atmosphere centered on a felt sense of safety, affirming care, and connection. Integrating positive psychology, geek therapy, neuroscience, and other creative approaches in my work, clients often seek my services when traditional therapy has not proven beneficial. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQIA+ persons, those who have experienced trauma, and sleep disorders & dreamwork. Diagnosed as autistic in my early 30s, and experiencing the associated self-discoveries and challenges, I enjoy working with late-diagnosed autistic/ADHD clients to help them explore and process life through a neurodiverse lens. Being a gender-affirming therapist is essential to my practice.
