- Counselor and Clinic Director of PEACE Center, LLC: a multi-disciplinary clinic serving children, adolescents and their support systems through individual, family, and group therapies as well as a variety of assessments. PEACE Center also offers Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Intervention, Sleep Consultation, Autistic Unmasking Coaching, Executive Function Coaching, Advocacy, and Integrative Touch Massage Therapy. We can attend to a variety of neurodivergence, with most inquiries about Autism, ADHD, OCD, Tics, Sensory Integration, Learning Differences and more. Teletherapy available under some circumstances and possibly only within the state of Alabama depending on the specialty. At this time, OT and SLP services are covered by Blue Cross. All other services are private pay but may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
- Mission: The mission of PEACE Center is to truly see and hear our families in their concerns, dig past the symptoms or “behaviors” to find the root causes, and create and execute a child-specific plan with supports that build skills, confidence, and self-understanding.
- Vision: PEACE Center aims to work as a team to improve access to diagnoses, testing, and services in our region, especially for neurodivergent people and their families. We also intend to lead the community in shifting the focus from disorder to diversity through education, services, supports, and by example.
